Here are some pictures of the old town in Fribourg. My host mom and I went for a little walk through the old town in Fribourg one really nice afternoon. I live in the canton of Fribourg but in the out skirts and it takes me one hour to get into the city, where I go to school. Fribourg kind of had two levels, the city is on the top and *basse-ville and *altstadt is on a lower level. I really like old architecture and vintage things so *natürlich I like *altstadt.
*altstadt: old town in German
*basse-ville: base village in French
*natürlich: is a commonly used word in the German language. The direct translation is "naturally" but it sounds better and makes more sense when I say it in German so I did :P
